I wonder if anyone else has noticed a weird audio glitch that seems to be plaguing GNR 640.
It's hard to describe but every once in a while, you'll hear a repetition of the last few seconds of audio. I heard it twice on Thursday (including during Charles Adler's show out of B.C.) and again on Friday morning, when Stafford was talking about movie stars interacting with the public in crisis situations.
He said something like "Tom Cruise coming to the rescue," which was immediately followed by "Cruise coming to the rescue," a repeat of what he'd just said a second or two ago. Call it an audio burp.
Not sure what it is, but it sounds like a fault in their delay system. The fact it's been happening for a few days makes me wonder if they're listening to their in house feed and not aware that it's happening on air.

It's obvious AM 640 is a tax write off for Corus.
Such a shame really.
