I note this here only because it's so rare that this many media-related jobs open up at once in Toronto. Canada's largest newspaper is looking for 12 journalists to power its new "Star Touch" tablet edition, which rolls out in September. With so many newspeople on the street, it likely won't take long before all the positions are filled. Unfortunately, I just saw this today - the deadline for applications was August 5th. But it's interesting to see them going for it, instead of just relying on existing staff.
