Aretha Franklin Passes Away at 76

I always like Who's Zoomin' Who.  Sad

Re: Aretha Franklin Passes Away at 76

"Fox News forced to apologize for mixing up Aretha Franklin, and Patti LaBelle." Oops.

I've been reading all the tributes to the Queen of Soul on Twitter, from Barack Obama, Clinton, Bette Midler, NPR, on and on. I read that Laurie Brown dedicated part of 'Q' on CBC radio 1 this morning to Ms. Franklin and her legacy in music, pop culture, and history.

The anniversary of Elvis Presley's death, and Madonna's 60th birthday also happened to fall on today. Poor Madge.

Of everything I read regarding Ms. Franklin, I think Stephen King's simple tweet said it best: " R - E - S - P - E - C - T ".

Fox's explanation of this faux pas leaves a lot to be desired.
