"Heard some sad news by way of the CHUM radio family. My friend Nanci Krant has passed away. She and I worked together at 1050 CHUM Toronto for several years - her traffic reports made my show pop. She was bright, witty and intelligent. RIP."

Was she not also Tom Rivers' widow? She posted here a lot in the 2000s I recall. Do I have that right?

Yes Jody she was in fact Tom's wife. She was one of the funniest happiest people I have ever worked with. 65 is too young to die. RIP Nancy.

I am in absolute shock...although I admit I didn't realize she was 65, that is still way too young to pass away!

So sad. Never met Nanci but enjoyed her solid work for years and years. RIP.
