CBC To Reveal First Ever Eurovision Finalists Next Week
The finalists will be given the chance to impress the judges here, and one of them will eventually be chosen to represent Canada in this country's first ever Eurovision Song Contest overseas.
But picking the participants is just the start of the process.
"The selection process involves a multi-stage approach, where a music industry jury and a public digital vote will ultimately determine Canada’s representative for Eurovision 2027."
The first step in this road to stardom begins Oct. 27th, when the list of names is officially released.

I’m curious to see who makes the finalists list and more importantly, have I even heard of any of them! I still think Angine de Poitrine should be Canada’s entry, but they don’t sing and the entries have to have lyrics apparently. Still, something new for Canada, let’s hope Europe isn’t burnt down by competition time!

Turns out while they won't be doing an on-air broadcast about the groups picked, they will be revealed live on a CBC Gem special online, as well as on YouTube. Showtime will be 3 PM Tuesday.

I actualy hope that its an inuit throte singer instead of a rapper.
Or a first nations powwow group.
But, I would actualy vote a traditional cape bretton or newfie east coast band or a ukrainian or polish canadian polka band.
