The CBC TV Series Some Thought They Only "Imagined" Was On Air
I wasn't in the demo, so I have no memory of a CBC kids' show called "The Odyssey" (no relation to the Greek-themed Imax movie.)
But some huge fans of the show note that, even though it ran for several years, no one seems to remember it.
I thought I imagined this '90s TV series. A lot of other people did, too

Watched "The Odyssey" regularly in first-run as a kid in the '90s, so it definitely wasn't solely a product of people's dreams. But the author of the linked article did not need to go off on that pathetic and unnecessary academic tangent to "explain" why people thought they imagined the series.

Some people thought they watched The Berenstein Bears when they were kids, only to find out later that wasn't the case.
