Imagine - this happened right in the middle of Beatlemania in 1964. I can only wonder what the teenage audience looking for the latest rock and roll hits thought of this idea. 

But they did it, not once or twice, but six separate times. I guess if they could do "Speak Your Mind" at night, anything goes.
