Confirmed: PWHL Games Will Air In Hockey Night In Canada's CBC Slot
Hockey Night in Canada's NHL contests are no more, but you'll still be able to see the game on CBC Saturday evenings.
The Professional Women's Hockey League matches will air there instead, beginning December 5th. The CBC will air eight games from the new league, with the first one being Walter Cup champs Montreal vs. Hamilton.
They'll air opposite the NHL on Sportsnet and the ratings should have quite a tale to tell.
‘Hockey Night in Canada’ returns, will broadcast PWHL games

They should hire the sniveller. He'd fit right in.

This is a good call by PWHL & the CBC. I have watched PWHL and it is going to be interesting to see if this splits the audience, especially in the Toronto market if the Leafs aren’t doing that well, like last season. Still, good news!
