CFRB's Jerry Agar Taking A Week Off For Motorcycle Trip Next Week
I'll be very curious to see who CFRB will have in his place from 10-noon for the week. Other than John Tory, who mostly seems to only do fill-in during the mornings, they don't exactly have a deep replacement bench over there.

I think the most common pattern has been Deb Hutton filling in, in that slot, and Jim Richards does the full 4 hours in the afternoon.
Maybe they'll flip it up with Jim Richards doing 10-noon and Deb Hutton doing the full 4 hours.

That latter suggestion may be the answer. But it would be really awkward to have someone on for two hours, pause for another two while Vassy Kapelos airs and then go back to that same personality 120 minutes later.

Well, there goes that idea. At the end of his Friday shift, Jim Richards confirmed he'd be in for Deb Hutton on Monday. So the best guess is Hutton replaces Agar, Richards subs for Hutton and then does his own show.

Given that the station has a year or two left at most,
it would be cheaper to keep paying him over buying him out.
Way cleaner when the whole thing’s shut down.

Yep, Deb Hutton announced she was filling in for Agar next week and Richards is pulling a double afternoon shift. Is it just me or has the 1010 bunch taken a fair amount of time off of late?!
