The Grand Ole Opry is considered the temple of country music, but Nashville will be looking northward next month, as it honours the Canadian Country Music Assn. The special celebration will include artists from the Great White North, and at least one disc jockey. 

Her name is Shannon Ella and she appears on Bell-owned Pure Country stations across the country. 
 
"Ella is the host of the midday show on the Pure Country radio network including Pure Country 106 in Midland, which she often records at the CTV News Barrie studios. She’s also a four-time CCMA award winner."

The ceremony takes place on October 29th, but it will be heard on Pure Country Nov. 6th.
