I feel bad for his investors. He had a convincing sales pitch as well but his business model wasn't kind to existing tenants in the rental buildings he purchased, then renovated into condos. Todd C. Slater.

1010 would be wise to get a guy like Ron Butler to do a show (he already has a great podcast - perhaps that could be repurposed?)

Yeah, that'll be a rough ride. These are mostly the newer tiny condos that "investors" thought they could turn in to Airbnbs. Now that that's died down it turns out nobody actually wants to live with them full-time and shoddy construction is going to lead to huge repair/renovation bills.
Rents on them are going down, interest rates are higher....messy.

I have zero sympathy for speculators dumping their discretionary money into a scheme that only contributes to the current housing problem.

He used to be a regular real-estate agent in Mississauga. I might still have one of his notepads in my junk drawer!
