I'd never heard this story before and it's pretty incredible. It's the tale of how a record that was never released actually made it onto the Billboard charts, the only time in history that ever happened. The year was 1979, the song was called "Ready'nSteady," the artist was billed only as "D.A." and the tune only reached #102. 

But it made it there nonetheless.
