Chances are you'll never be in Windsor, Connecticut anytime soon, but if you are, there's a place to put on your itinerary - it's called the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum. And it looks like an amazing place. But even if you never get there, the article below illustrates just some of what's on display. 

In addition to vintage radios from different eras, there are also old TVs, early home computers, ancient crystal sets, classic appliances, cameras, movie projectors and just about anything else you can think of. The pictures in the story give you a pretty good feel for what's inside an otherwise non-descript building. 

And they even have a complete old style rebuilt radio control room. 

"It’s set up as a working radio station environment, with a mixing board running along a wooden counter, turntables on either side holding colored vinyl records, a rack of cartridge tapes mounted on the wall, and reel-to-reel equipment adding to the authenticity. 

A window in the booth looks through to a separate room where microphones and additional broadcast equipment are set up, exactly as they would have been in a real radio station."
