I've seen a lot of weird things happen during live shoots over the years, including at the station I called home for nearly three decades  - anchors being touched and assaulted while standing in a crowd of people, traffic accidents taking place in the background and even one tech getting zapped when the sat truck mast came in contact with a hydro pole. But I'd never heard of anything quite this brazen.
