    "Hot enough for ya?" Newstalk host has an answering quip

    On a very hot morning, John Moore was on-air, and he shared his response to those irritating people who gleefully enjoy people sweltering.

    Person: "Hot enough for ya?"

    John: "Why, can you make it hotter?"

    His dry, bemused tone sold it.

    I've sometimes answered people who ask me that, "No, I'd really like for it to be hotter [or colder when I'm asked the opposite question in winter]." It seems to stop them from asking me such questions again.
