Don't watch City TV news that often but today I caught most of the 5pm program.  I was really impressed with City's chief meteorologist Natasha Ramsahai.  She was excellent with a very conversational presentation of the weather and you could tell she knows her stuff.  Natasha did a nice little bit on why some parts of the country have been so dry this summer with wildfires and other areas much more rain than normal.  She made it easy to understand and covered a lot of information with her time on the forecast.  

I checked into her background, working for CBC TV and radio, the Weather Network prior to City and 680 News.  She earned her masters degree in earth and space sciences from York University in 2001 and has been involved with forecasting the weather since high school. 

Anyway we sometimes are quick to criticize but it is nice to give credit to someone who is a professional and good at what they do.
