Can't tell you how disappointed I was to hear Ben Shulman say he was heading to Sportsnet TV for the next few Jays' series, leaving Eric Smith for the radio coverage. 

As I've said here all too often, I can't stand Smith's style, especially his constant overuse of the phrase "he sits down Okamoto/Guerrero/The Blue Jays etc. etc. etc." 500 times an inning. 

He also has a very irritating habit of not completely describing the action. During his last stint, I heard him call a home run. Except I had no idea the ball even left the park because of the awkward way he described the play. It wasn't until well after the player ran the bases that I knew what actually happened.

Not sure where Dan Shulman is going, but I hope he comes back soon, so the radio gang can get back to normal.
