Still not sure of the date, but when John Moore goes on vacation this summer, he'll be gone a long time. He told his audience Thursday that for the first time in his career, the CFRB morning show host will be taking a full four weeks off. That means he'll be gone for just over a month. It's the longest amount of consecutive time off he's ever taken since he's been in broadcasting. 

What does that mean for listeners? Lots and lots and lots of John Tory, who has already confirmed he'll be taking Moore's place. I know some here are not fond of Tory on the air, and they may have to find another show to listen to for a while. 

Meanwhile, I believe I heard Greg Brady say he's also taking a week off, possibly as soon as next week. Who's taking his place? In the past, it's been B.C.-based weekend host Rob Fai, but that hasn't been confirmed.

Either way, morning talk radio in the city is about to sound very different for the foreseeable future.
