AM640's mid-morning man has been filling in on Global's morning show this week. He was on the 9AM segment on Monday and will be back fronting the same time slot on Tuesday. 

So what happens to his morning gig on CFIQ, which starts at 9 o'clock? He's actually going to be on two places at once, admitting to taping the first hour of radio and then doing the rest live until noon. 

Smith isn't a total novice at this. He hosted Breakfast Television for two years on City TV.
