Do You Use Roku? You May Want To Know This

Fox has bought Roku and its streaming service for $22 billion, giving it an instant "in" to the growing world of Internet program delivery. It already owns Tubi and will now have access to Roku boxes and its estimated 100 million subscribers.

"Combining Fox and Roku creates the “third-largest player in US television by share of viewing,” the companies said a press release. Together, they will control more than a 5% share."

Will Fox ownership change any minds about whether to keep the service? That is still to be determined, and there's no word if any of the choices on the streamer will change as a result of the deal.

Roku tracks everything you watch on it. If it goes through then Fox and their Friends will be tracking you. Govern yourself accordingly.

Roku is very dependable. It has barely made any money so someone cashed in with this sale.
