What Happened To CTV Toronto News At 6 On Monday?

The show never started, instead being replaced by about five minutes of commercials. After all that, they cut into the middle of CTV News Channel, at about 6:05 PM. No local news at all, it appears, although it was scheduled to air as normal despite the holiday.

CFRB, which simulcasts the CTV news show at 6 PM, substituted with The Best of John Moore.

Whatever happened, I feel bad for those at Channel 9 Court. I know the incredible amount of work that goes into preparing for a major newscast. To see it all go to waste is a real shame. Especially when the staff had to come in on a holiday Monday.

CP24 also took the CTV News Channel feed, presumably so most of the staff could have their scheduled hour long dinner break.

It's a holiday. CTV London will be showing E Talk, which no one will watch.
