The Anniversary Of One Of The Biggest Screw-ups In TV History

It was May 8th, 2006, when a man went to the BBC to apply for an IT job.

The next thing he knew, he was live on the air, mistaken for an expert on an obscure topic, and being grilled by a TV host. The look on his face when it dawns on him what's going on is absolutely priceless. Astonishingly, the surprised applicant went with it and tried to answer questions about something he knew nothing about.

His name was Guy Goma and his story has become the stuff of legend - including the fact that after all that, he still didn't get the job.

Oddly, I didn’t hear about this in 2006 when it happened, but heard two pieces about it yesterday, plus your post makes three! I enjoy stories like this, right place, wrong Guy!
