Never mind WKRP. There really is a radio station whose call letters are KRAP.

It's located in a place called Washington, Missouri and the tale of how those calls came about is a story in itself. I'm assuming it's not CRAP - er - KRAP. But it all started with the U.S. Coast Guard and a hurricane. Be sure to watch the embedded video. The owner's explanation is hilarious.
