I'm hoping they're only temporary, while Alex Pierson recovers from whatever is ailing her.
Beginning this week, the 12 PM slot is occupied by the execrable "Last Show with David Cooper," which normally airs at 7 PM. An hour later, it's Shaye Ganam, the Alberta talk show host who talks mostly about Alberta issues irrelevant to Toronto and London residents. And then, at 2 PM, it's CFNY radio host, Drex, who was a former talk show host for Corus out west.
Ben Mulroney airs in his regular slot at 3 o'clock.

I’m not sure that “Last Show with David Cooper” is the right type of programming for the 12 pm time slot, it is more of an evening show in character, not too newsy etc. and a good amount of fluff pieces.
He can be entertaining and worked well with Jim Richards where he guested when Richards was on in the evening a few years ago.

At least the Vassy show on 1010 can occupy my time from noon to 2. The hour until Mulroney comes on will be a coin-toss, with Drex and Mrs Hudak equally unlistenable. Maybe CBC for an hour to get a socialist fix?

Surprise they just didn't make Brady work 6-12 and Ben 12-6
