CBC News opens more regional bureaus
Mother Corp announced today that it will boost regional news coverage by opening a whole bunch of new bureaus. While most are in Western Canada and B.C.,they have announced the creation of a new bureau in Peel Region, covering Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon.

Why not somewhere like Barrie Ont? Peel and Mississauga should be covered by the actual Toronto bureau.

The point is making dedicated efforts to improve news in areas not already well served. Barrie already has good enough local news

Guessing this is where Jazan Grewal was recruited to. CBC is the only news media with money these days. Where do they get it from?
