For the first time in 33 years, coverage of the hockey classic went on without one of its stalwart analysts - Bob McKenzie. What happened to him? 

Turns out there's nothing wrong at all. In fact, everything's great now that he's officially off the job for good thanks to retirement. 

"Instead of gearing up for another December camp or pre-tournament exhibition earlier this month, the 69-year-old was doing something unfamiliar: staying home. Spending time with family. Watching his grandchildren grow. Now, he’s letting the holidays unfold without the tournament dictating where he needs to be and when."
