She had science correspondent Dan Riskin on her show this week and revealed that she's a "super recognizer." She can meet someone just once years prior and not only recognize that person a decade later, but she can also remember what they were wearing and why she was talking to them.

That's quite a handy talent for a host who does what she does for a living and I only wish I could do that. I'm terrible with faces and sometimes forget I met someone just two weeks ago! And God help me when it comes to recalling their name! But good for her. Riskin says she's one of only a handful with that ability and I'm sure it comes in useful in confronting politicians on their former statements that they may have long forgotten. 

By the way, I noticed that while AM640 is airing the Best of Vassy Kapelos at 2 PM Saturday, the exact same show is now airing on CFRB on Sunday at roughly around the same time. I can't think of an instance where the same show airs on two radio stations in the same market less than 24 hours apart. What a strange way to compete between two talk stations. So much for exclusivity.
