Will A Canadian Team In The World Series Hurt The Ratings Down South?

I wondered the same thing and the people quoted in the piece below seem to think a Canadian team could depress viewership south of the border. But there's little doubt it will do wonders for Sportsnet here. 

Are the Los Angeles Dodgers Enough to Hold American Interest as They Face the Toronto Blue Jays?

For game 7, Fox had over 9 million viewers, with a peak of 12.5 million. Claimed it was their largest ALCS audience since 2017/
