    CBC Radio Suffers Long Outage In Cornwall

    Not sure how many Cornwallians (Cornwallites?) we have here but I just saw this: CBC Radio's transmitters there lost power on Sunday night and they've been off the air ever since.

    Not sure what happened, but just shy of a full day and counting is a very long time to be gone from the airwaves. The online signal is still available for those desperate for a CBC Radio fix.

    Cornwall is within fringe reception of the Ottawa fm signals.During the blackout of 2003 only the Toronto AMs stayed on air and provided info. from Premier about the blackout.CBC should have kept big city AM signals for this very reason.
