CKDO Air Personality Gets Honoured On Oshawa Walk Of Fame

Terry Johnston has been at CKDO in Oshawa since 1992 and began calling the Oshawa Generals games in 2007.

Now his service to the city is being repaid with a space on the Oshawa Hall of Fame.

He's not the first radio personality to get the accolade. Some here will remember when the great John Donabie was also honoured with a spot there just a few months before his death last year. For a broadcasting great, he told me it was one of the biggest thrills of his life to be recognized in the town where he was born. (Donabie's broadcasting career began at what was then CKLB.)

So congrats to Terry Johnston. You may be faceless on the radio, but you're well known in the community you've called home for decades. The ceremony takes place on Nov, 6th
