WildBrain (Family Channel etc) shutting down all linear cable channels
Announced today. Family Channel, Family Channel jr, WildBrainTV and Télémagino will be shutting down in the coming months.
Bell indicated they would be dropping their channels. They also lost an appeal to the CRTC about undue disadvantage and subsequently not being able to come to an agreement with Rogers who will be dropping their channels as well they have announced they are shutting down their linear channels.

I hate seeing Canadian channels disappear regardless of their genre. Sad sign of the times unfortunately.
