This is not a made up best of list. It's from a research company called Mediabase, which measures the frequency of song airplay in over 180 radio markets. I have to say I'm not surprised at the results and I've heard of almost every single one of them. Although I wasn't expecting #1 to come in where it did.
Does Q107 know about this? Is this their playlist? You'll certainly hear some or all of these on the station at some point.

Try this version. You can't play the videos, but at least the ads aren't there.

Thank you.
Reads list.
Meh.
Still needs a Cancon version. 😁

'Separate Ways'? Odd - I haven't heard that on radio in a long time. The rest is typical (and typically dull).

Cancon aside, Canada would look quite a bit different. That list mentions that only one 90s song made the cut, while Q107, for example is pretty much 50% 90s.

Here's the Canadian version. Not as much 90s as I would have thought, but Q107 has modernized more aggressively than some others.

Now I am genuinely confused. How does that list not have any Trooper, Gino Vannelli, and all the other clunkers that constitute what I thought as Cancon? 🤔

The Cancon kicks in after #40. (First one is #42 - Big Wreck/That song) Makes sense as top-testing songs will get a higher rotation.

My apologies and thanks. I should have worded my question as to what are the strictly Cancon songs. Anything not Cancon should be disregarded.

Thanks for this. I noticed the Black Crowes blurb has one of my favourite typos, “She Talks to Angles”, how obtuse!

What "acute" comment.
