If you can't get MeTV's cartoon channel in Canada, there's now a place you can see most of what they have on offer - on your schedule.
Tubi has rescued the classic Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoons, which had been on a pay cable channel in the U.S. But when HBO Max dropped the merrie melodies, which features the likes of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, it looked like many of them would be unavailable.
The free online streamer has picked up the rights to the classic shorts, and they can be seen on demand and for free. The collection includes some of the rarely seen black and white oldies, although whether they will screen out some of the more racist elements in those early installments remains to be seen.
Over 780 episodes are now online, with one caveat - you'll need a VPN set to the U.S. to see it. Apparently, the Canadian version has not yet up picked those rights. But it could happen eventually. You can visit the U.S. site here.

There's also a good number of Looney Tunes cartoons available on the Warner Bros. Classics YouTube channel. Not sure if it's quite as extensive, but there's a lot of the classics that I remember as a kid when they aired on TV in the 1970s.

My favourite musical interlude was Bugs Bunny making himself dinner.
"Oh carrots are divine
You get a dozen for a dime,
It's magic!"
Amazing how many kids got introduced to classical music by these wonderful shorts (including yours truly.)
