How I Know The Summer Is Officially Over
I heard my first "Let's Go To The Ex" commercial on CFRB Tuesday morning. Who needs falling leaves and cold winds, when this awful reminder turns up every year?'
By the way, this is the earliest possible Labour Day this year thanks to a quirk of the calendar. School starts on Sept. 2nd. Ouch!

and of course the other sign of the summer winding down -- back to school ads.
They began playing on 1010 even before the first of August.

I've been seeing the Amazon back-to-school ads for a couple weeks now on TV. They ran them last year too, with the great tagline of "spend less on your kids".
