The political talk here is getting a bit overwhelming and you guys have a dedicated thread for that. What does this have to do with the 1270 AM format change, which was what the original topic was about? I'm getting so many complaints about these constant off-the-point political comments, that it's taking up a ton of my time and costing me longtime members. That can't continue. 

Look, I know this is a fascinating story. But it really doesn't belong here. This is supposed to be a board about radio and TV in the area. Not a political screed for either side. There are literally thousands and thousands of places to leave these kind of thoughts. Just not here. 

I'm a huge believer in free speech. But I can't let it overwhelm this place and what we've all spent so much time building here.  Please don't make me start deleting or locking out more messages - or users! Trump and his ilk have already caused enough damage. Don't let him ruin SOWNY, too!
