I want to start this posts be giving a shout out to Caleb Joseph on Sportsnet's Blue Jays Baseball broadcasts. I really enjoy his passion and humour. Where he really excels is how he teaches the viewer about the intricacy's of the game. He really takes time to explain the strategy behind the game.
I am amazed groups like Lighthouse is still going, they're playing in Brantford in a few weeks and they have been around since the late 60's, it is 55 years...and then Triumph also is doing some work, thanks to HNIC (Hockey Night in Canada) playing their hit song on the opening. Lay it on the line. They haven't played together for 17 years and now they are doing some music biz stuff...
This another band that is still in the game for 40+ years. I think what amazes me is here we are in a time of get change in 2025 and bands like the 2 I mentioned are still at it and their music takes you back to perhaps a simpler time.
Here is more on the Triumph story...

Agree with you about caleb. I had trouble remembering one of is predecessors on Blue Jays Central …Greg Zaun….I found that Zaun’s ego got in the way too often…though I liked his Sunday rants…. Caleb also called a few games in the last couple of weeks in the broadcast booth with Dan S, and he is turning into a really good play-by-play announcer. I’m also finding that Joe sittle is “stepping up to the plate” (pardon the pun) in his booth work with Dan S. If you watch MLB games with other teams’ broadcast teams, you will realize how good the Blue Jays crew is. The NESN crew always puts us to sleep. Just wish that Zwelling and Ben hyphenated-smith would dial down those meaningless statistics.
