Translation: we fired him so now he has to pursue other opportunities outside the company.

Good points and certainly possible. If there is any more fat to be trimmed they'll find it, especially if the in-house champion is gone. Troy is also a micromanager and that could've been a factor too.

Troy wasn't everyone's cup of tea as he worked his way up the greasy pole at BN before moving to the Global pole and climbing much higher.
   But he did a great report calling out a number of butt-kissing questions at a Madonna news conference. The worst offenders were apparently some entertainment reporters from Montreal and 680's Rudy Blair, who was really steamed that his butt-kissing question was in Troy's report. Tough luck, Rudy.
