Corus Announces Fall Schedules For Specialty Channels And Stack TV
This Upfront release from Corus yesterday is mostly for their many specialty channels and Stack TV. Global does have two original scripted dramas planned this year. Season Two of Murder In A Small Town, and Private Eyes will be back on Global with the drama/comedy moving to Vancouver Island. For the company's new Flavour and Home networks 8 original series are planned. From Corus Entertainment....

I find that for network TV type programming, I have been leaning toward Global of late, they haven’t added a lot of new shows this coming season but that’s alright since I enjoy what they currently have.

I am the same. Global was a network that I never really watched that much, but this past season I have been tuning in more. Even watching Global news more than before. Apparently the new Flavour and Home Networks have had a good launch. Global lost Food and HGTV Networks to Rogers and replaced these with their own similar networks, which so far seem to be well received.
I missed that Family Law is also returning this year, so Global has three original scripted series upcoming.
