The Juno Awards on CBC had decent overnight ratings with 542,000 tuned in plus another 150,000 with a western Canada prime time repeat broadcast. The show was broadcast live from Vancouver. All numbers will increase when digital platforms are added and 7 day estimates.
Afternoon Blue Jay Baseball and Leaf Hockey did well, and US simsubs of LA Suits, American Idol, $100,000 Pyramid were weak. More details from Bill Brioux..

Online!
The best part was when host Michael Buble, in referring to the situation with the U.S., told the audience, "When they go low, we get high."
Slip of the lip or deliberate? I guess we'll never know, but it was a terrific moment.

Buble was a good host, I believe this was the second time he has hosted. He was quite relaxed and worked well with the other performers. CBC has updated the numbers and are saying an average of 691,000 viewers with a peak of 838,000. A long way from the numbers 20 years ago but strong in 2025.
This year's Juno Awards weren't exactly playing the hits.
