Buffalo Radio & TV Veteran Retiring After More Than 40 Yrs.

This weekend marks the end of a remarkable 40+ year career, much of it spent in Buffalo. You may remember Barry Lillis as the weatherman on WGRZ. After struggles with alcoholism and cancer, he wound up back where he started from - in radio. 

For the past few years, he's been doing a show on WEBR in the Queen City but that comes to an end on Sunday, when the veteran does one last air shift to say farewell. He plans to travel and relax. His final show airs from 6-10 AM on WEBR, AM1440. 

It's almost impossible to get here, thanks to Fairchild's CHKT at 1430. But it's available online here
