You may still be hearing Bell programming on 610 CKTB, but here's the first hint of the changes coming - an ad for an opening for an assistant program director and producer. Sprawled prominently across the top of the page is the Whiteoaks banner, the new owner.
It means the takeover is looming.
The position is an odd one - it not only calls for the successful applicant to act as a part time P.D., but also to produce shows and even function when needed as a Board Op. I guess that's not unusual for a small town station, but it does seem like a jack of all trades announcement to me.
One of the duties includes preparing segments for its afternoon show "The Drive," a sign they're intending to keep at least some of the existing programming.

There is also an ad for a Traffic Manager, also for Whiteoaks.
It's not clear yet when the new owner will completely take over or what changes they'll make, but it's a sign the date is coming soon.

More here, including middays hosts for the three music station, all of which were tracked out-of-marktet.
This is a very good sign for these stations.

"Must be a team player with a positive attitude and sense of humour".
Team players with bad attitudes and no sense of humour need not apply.
