This one is currently known as "TBD" on Channel 29.2, and shows almost nothing but "Whose Line Is It Anyway" and "Key & Peele" reruns.
But come April 28th, it changes its name to "Roar" - as in "roar" with laughter.
"The station promises "a curated mix of classic and contemporary comedy series, viral sketches, and lighthearted reality shows, aiming to inject humor into viewers’ daily lives. While specific titles remain under wraps, [owner] Sinclair has teased fan-favorite reruns alongside fresh, original content designed to spark joy."
I always welcome a new choice on TV, but still, I have to ask - with subcarrier stations like AntennaTV, Laff, Rewind TV and Catchy Comedy already showing a plethora of old comedy series, what's left to put on air? I guess we'll find out at the end of April.
