I did see this and I was pleasantly surprised. It looks like they sent their live truck to her home, leaving her to only have to step outside to deliver the weather. It was absolutely essential someone be there live for a historic storm like this, and I was really happy it wasn't anchor weather. 

Hopefully, she'll be there tomorrow when my back and shoulders are destroyed from shovelling every three hours. 

Credit where it's due: they did the right thing. 

And by the way, kudos to Global, who have finally, finally, finally, put the clock on the other side of the screen for their futurecast, so that it's not blocked by the forecasters' large heads. This is a no-brainer and should have happened ages ago.
