So the Country star will be singing America the Beautiful at the Orange Menace's Inauguration. Wouldn't normally care..except that this is the future President who is talking about damaging tariffs and forcing Canada to its knees...economically speaking. Any Country stations planning to dump Ms. Underwood's music in response?
Just asking....

If I were a country radio PD or MD (or higher up), I would immediately and permanently drop all of her music. In fact, I would physically delete all of her songs from the automation and the music scheduling software, and shred all of her CDs that still exist in the station.

This isn't the first time her music has faced a ban:
Carrie Underwood banned by Ottawa radio station after Fisher trade (Feb. 11, 2011)

Online!
I just looked up who else was performing at the inauguration and it reads like a concert from hell - Underwood, Village People, Kid Rock etc., bunch of mostly has-beens in my opinion, and not the best ones at that!

Aside from those who've chosen to play for the Mad King, imagine the wife-beaters, drug-dealers, convicted felons, seditionists, industrial-scale polluters, election deniers and arms merchants in that audience.
That'll make tRump all warm and fussy.

There should be a song called Canada the beautyfull to counter our statehood.

Banning her on radio stations is akin the McCarthy era. Once you ban someone for the political views, that is a slippery slope to silencing the majority.
When you silence people that is when riots, civil wars start. The side you're silencing will one day have had enough and will act out.
If Democrat supporters were banned from airplay for supporting their representatives, they would be calling "bloody murder".
Let's stop the Trump or Poilievre hate and be open to what occurs. It sure as hell is not like the Liberals or Democrats were any good. Cue the Who lyrics, "Meet the new boss, the same as the old boss".
It is 2025, let's stop bashing and start building what we would like to see.

Couldn't agree more, Joe, and I say that even though I consider Trump the most dangerous man in the world.
It appears history is repeating itself when it comes to politics ruining musical careers.
