U.S. Rapper Working On FM Station Solely Powered By A.I.
Have to admit I've never heard of rapper Lupe Fiasco, but he's planning on trying a first for North America - an FM station that features A.I. created music based on his own work, promising you'll never hear the same song - ever.
Sounds like pie in the sky, but he's partnering with MIT to try and make it come true.
I'm not sure what the future holds but if it's variations of music based on a single artist, count me out!
"The station promises to run 24/7, generating AI-powered music trained on the intricacies of Lupe’s distinctive style. Each track will be unique, never repeated, offering listeners an endless stream of fresh, Lupe-inspired music.
However, he suggests the broadcast will only be accessible at specific times, in certain locations, and exclusively via traditional FM radios."
A fully AI-powered radio station in 2025?

I'm 25 and never heard of him.
Mind you, I listen to more pop/country/90s and 00s soft pop and not rap.

A fully AI-powered radio station in 2025?
If I was listening to a station like this, I would listen to one playing AI versions of songs from the 90s and 00s that no longer play on the radio with AI versions of mix fm djs like maddog and billy just for the laugh about the AI glitches.
