Whiteoaks and 102.9 and 105.7

I know when Whiteoaks bys the Bell media stations, they won't change the branding on HTZ fm or CKTB AM.
But, because both Bounce and Move are Bell brands, what do you think white oaks should do or will do with these stations?
My predictions on what they will do.
Keep the formats but change brandnames.
Change format of 102.9 and return the klite or ez rock brands.
What I think they should do.
Make both stations into soft AC stations with the klite branding.
Make both stations into throwback stations only playing songs from the 90s and 2000s.
Put CJMR on 102.9's main signal or Joy 1250.
Joy would better off on FM but CJMR could benifit and add programing in more languages.

Here is CKLH's wikipedia article.
It is rong about ownership, The article should say sail pending but it says owned by Whiteoaks.

Yes, deal was approved Dec 19.

If they were ready, it likely finalized today.

Re: Whiteoaks and 102.9 and 105.7

It took months after Neeti Ray officially took over CHAM, CKOC and CKWW for him to assume control of the stations. So it's possible it could still be a while before you see any changes at the St. Catharines outlets. I'm assuming there's an arrangement to continue with Bell programming on 610 until everything is finalized.

The differance is that Neeti never programed a mainstream english language formated station before. He still has not added more programs toCKOC and there's still not a lot of adds.
Whiteoaks will take over faster and program the stations better than Bell did

He's had Flow 98.7 for a while.

But yes, in this case Whiteoaks is getting more complete stations, including studios (at least for St. Catharine's)

Re: Whiteoaks and 102.9 and 105.7

Flow is programed a bit more like an ethnic station with some mainstream music.

Because it has to be, by condition of licence.
