Podcast From "Under The Influence's" Terry O'Reilly On The Fab Four

On Thursday, CBC Radio 1 reran Terry O'Reilly's final "Under The Influence" from the summer, and I'm guessing that means a new season is imminent - although I can't quite find anywhere that says when the new season kicks off.

In the meantime, O'Reilly has filled the gap with yet another new show, this one dedicated to one of his passions - The Beatles.

The Beatlology Interviews consists of O'Reilly interviewing various people of note about what the Fab Four meant to them and how The Beatles played a part in their lives and careers. I guess you could call it Under The Beatles Influence. The most recent, put up just five days ago according to the webpage, is with Star Wars cult favourite Mark Hamill.

According to the description of the 44 minute show, "Mark talks to us about his first blush with the Beatles, how he began collecting Beatles memorabilia, that time he met George Harrison on a plane, and whether or not he let his kids play with Star Wars Toys."

The available episodes are here.
