The puff piece mostly focuses on how he spends his weekend, now that he's working Monday-Friday. But it also indicates why the show he's finally landed under his own name means so much to him.
"I enjoyed everything I did in TV, but, ... the producer's voice or the network's voice was as much a voice you heard as mine, and a lot of the stuff I did on TV was to convey information, right?" he says. "It absolutely wasn't to convey opinion."
Now, his new gig is offering him the opposite.
"It really is the undistilled, unvarnished version of me," he tells blogTO.

This could have been a fun, interesting profile of someone who's been a public person for decades. But RA nailed it, it's a puff piece.
A badly edited puff piece. There's a missing word in one sentence. And the whole thing is so generic that perhaps AI was used to write the copy around the quotes. It almost feels like a promo for Moore Park businesses.
Ben's honesty about the learning curve he's going through and the differences between working in tv and radio make the article worth reading. Thanks for sharing this RA!

I haven't listened to Ben much on his mid morning show. I imagine in the new year he will likely get the odd hard to get guest. He has lots of contacts in both the entertainment business and politics. And because he is well known and his affable style, some who normally wouldn't be a guest on a talk show may very well with Mulroney. I hope he does some entertainment interviews. A nice change from 1010 and their constant yipping about politics and a certain host that does nothing but complain.

Puff piece for a puff personality.
