Sick and tired of more and more radio and TV stations these days ramping up their airings of Indigenous land acknowledgements. We get that it's traditionally their territory, but we do NOT need to hear "broadcasting from the traditional unceded, unsurrendered territory of [blah blah blah]" on any radio or TV station or see it on their websites or socials. My wife has Mohawk ancestry, and she says these statements are fake and actually disrespectful.

This is why I have stopped listening to some radio stations - who even came up with this BS idea in the first place and why?
