As I said in the post about hg tv, I think companies like rogers and bell are being to american.
Were allready close to the american border and we get american media, why cant our companies other than the cbc or as a privat example, stingray be more canadian?
Examples of this are, rogers renaming ignite to xfinity, rogers redusing cancon on their country station in Kitchener, bell bying an american phone company.
What do you think of the extra americanisation of canadian media?
Unlike some on this sub, I like cancon.
You get to find out about canadian singers from radio or, singers you hear on the radio that you did not know were canadian, you find out later that they are from our own country and not american.
And our country neads to export lesser known cancon to the states like the hip and the rankin family.
